Mode of admission

The basis to be covered by a long-term homecare for patients being mechanically ventilated is a hospital unit doctor referral. The referral should include:

- Information card of hospital treatment
- Patient’s examination results
- Homecare recommendation issued by anaesthesiologist and intensive care doctor

The mechanical home ventilation is a continuation of the hospital care.
