Who is eligible for?

Eligible for this service are those who are insured by the NFZ and they are able to ensure demanded home conditions. Family members (guardians) should be trained in maintaining and operating of medical devices. They are obliged to secure a first aid to a patient during the treatment.

Eligible for this service are those who meet all following conditions:
a) Have causal treatment finished and documented
b) Are fully diagnosed (having all necessary examinations completed in order to confirm the diagnosis and impossibility of other treatment application).

Patients being mechanically ventilated cannot be covered at the same time by:
- Palliative and hospice care
- Long term nursing
- Visiting nurse
