Enteric feeding programs

Since January the 1st of 2009 the NFZ has introduced a new procedure of enteric feeding in home environment (the service has been described in the attachment no4, of the Decree 82/2008/DSOZ issued by the President of the NFZ, dated the 14th of October 2008).

For patients and children ventilated mechanically this service can be offered in the same time with the long-term homecare. Enteric feeding in the home environment is subsidized by NFZ; it is free of charge for patients.

The refund covers delivery of products, devices and necessary dressings to patient’s home and a free of charge care of a doctor and a nurse in the feeding area. This service is provided by the following clinics: www.niedajsiezjescchorobie.pl, www.nutrimed.pl
